Applying to the Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Dermatology

Entry Requirements

Qualification requirements for the course are MBBS or basic medical degree from universities recognised by the University of London. Prior experience in dermatology is desirable but not essential. IELTS score of 6.5 or TOEFL 590 or more is required for International Programme students.

Access to a computer with Internet connection is essential for undertaking the course.

The College follows the UK Fee Classification Regulations which require students to meet two criteria to be considered "Home" students for fee payment purposes. Applicants need to a) have right of abode in the UK (i.e. have no restrictions on their right to stay in the UK - this usually takes the form of UK or EU Citizenship, Asylum Status, Indefinite Leave to Remain or Exceptional Leave to Remain) AND b) have been ordinarily resident in the UK for a minimum of three years prior to the start of the programme.

Fees

Fees for the Diploma commencing September 2010 are:

  • £3600 for the Home Programme 
  • £4600 for the International Programme.

We are currently accepting applications for the programme commencing 13 September 2010. The closing date for applications is 27 August 2010. To submit an application please provide the following:

  • Barts and The London (SMD) Postgraduate Online Application Form 

     Hard copies of the following documentation should be sent to the relevant course administrator:-    

  • Certified copy of Passport
  • Certified copy of Medical Degree Certificate or Certified copy of Full GMC Certificate
  • English Language Proficiency Certificate (International Programme Only)
  • PLEASE NOTE: INCOMPLETE APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED
