Applying to the Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Dermatology

Entry Requirements

Qualification requirements for the course are MBBS or basic medical degree from universities recognised by the University of London. Prior experience in dermatology is desirable but not essential. Academic IELTS score of 6.5 (minimum 6 written) or an internet based TOEFL (IBTOEFL) of 92 or higher is required for International Programme students. Please note - the paper based TOEFL is no longer acceptable.

Access to a computer with Internet connection is essential for undertaking the course.

The College follows the UK Fee Classification Regulations which require students to meet two criteria to be considered "Home" students for fee payment purposes. Applicants need to a) have right of abode in the UK (i.e. have no restrictions on their right to stay in the UK - this usually takes the form of UK or EU Citizenship, Asylum Status, Indefinite Leave to Remain or Exceptional Leave to Remain) AND b) have been ordinarily resident in the UK for a minimum of three years prior to the start of the programme.


Fees for the Diploma commencing September 2018 are:

  • £5,900 for the Home Programme
  • £10,400 for the International Programme.
